Love, Simon, directed by Greg Berlanti, is the story about Simon Spier (Nick Robinson), a 17 year old with loving parents and sister, who goes to high school and it’s an average american student, with friends, but he has a problem: He hasn’t told his family or friends that he’s gay, and one day he starts being romantically interested with someone he only has met online.
Love, Simon is the 2018 version of some 80s classic movies like Pretty in Pink or The Breakfast Club, but this time remixed with 13 Reasons Why (actually, Katherine Langford, the main actress of this Netflix series is also in the movie) and the result is a dramedy that will make you laugh and think about love for the Z generation.
Not only teenagers can find this movie interesting because Simon’s mom and dad (interpreted by Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel) face funny and awkward situations that cause nervous laughs and make parents wonder what to do or say if they were in that same situation.

Love, Simon, dirigida por Greg Berlanti, es la historia de Simon Spier (Nick Robinson), un joven de 17 años con padres amorosos y una buena hermana, quien es un estudiante de prepa promedio, con amigos, pero con un problema: no le ha dicho a su familia o amigos que es gay, y un día comienza a interesarse románticamente por alguien a quien conoce sólo en línea.
Love, Simon es la versión 2018 de algunas películas clásicas de los 80 como Pretty in Pink o The Breakfast Club, pero esta vez remixeada con 13 Reasons Why (de hecho, Katherine Langford, la actriz principal de esta serie de Netflix también está en esta película) y el resultado es una dramedia que te hará reír y pensar en el amor para la generación Z.
No sólo los adolescentes pueden encontrar interesante esta cinta porque la mamá y el papá de Simon (interpretados por Jennifer Garner y Josh Duhamel) se enfrentan a situaciones divertidas e incómodas que provocan risas nerviosas y hacen que los padres se pregunten qué hacer o decir si estuvieran en la misma situación.
